Groups
Groups are where we share life together, encouraging and supporting each other. While most of our groups happen Sunday morning during After Half, we also offer a few special groups over the course of the year that will meet at different times!
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Sunday Morning Groups
Groups meet every Sunday from 11:15-11:45. Groups and locations are listed below:
Elementary School (PreK-5th Grade) – Elementary Room (E104-5)
Middle and High School (6-12th Grade) – Youth Room (E211)
Sermon Talkbacks (Reflection and discussion on sermon and scripture) – Chapel (M109)
Fellowship – Sanctuary Overflow
The monthly Men’s Breakfast is a time to gather together and share life over breakfast. Please note that Benny’s Restaurant only takes cash or check, so please plan accordingly.

Monthly Men's and Women's Gatherings
All women are invited to join as we gather each month to study scripture together. Every other month, we take a collection for Bear Necessities Pantry in Rock Falls (the next collection is in March).

Life Groups
These life groups each have a different focus as we share life together and offer encouragement to one another.
Middle and High School students have the opportunity to gather every other Sunday evening for Youth Group. This is a safe place where students can experience what it means to reflect Christ by passionately following him, and they can ask questions about faith and find truth.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 6:30-8:00 pm!
Each week, we gather to pray over the specific needs of the church, revitalization of our church, and for our Sterling/Rock Falls community. We meet each Thursday at 10:00 am in the chapel.
Kindred Souls is our group for widows and widowers. This group is designed to be a safe place for men and women to support and encourage each other in both their shared and unique experiences of life after the death of a spouse. It meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am in the church parlor. Bring a drink and find peace and hope in the companionship.

This weekly life group is designed to be a place where we can come together in all parts of life. From the day-to-day “stuff” to the study and application of scripture as we seek to grow in our relationships with Jesus. From encouragement, to prayer, to laughter, to empathy, we’re better together.
Date: Mondays, 4-6:30 pm
Location: Pastor Swihart’s house (contact the office for the address)
Process Groups are part of the Recovery Alive Program, where we work intentionally through the 12 Steps of Recovery in a safe and supportive space. Regardless of your hurt, habit, or hangup, a Process Group can help! Process Groups are gender-specific and issue non-specific.
